IUS and Institute for Public Health of Sarajevo Canton Sign MoU

On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Memorandum) with the Institute for Public Health of Sarajevo Canton (Institute) to establish cooperation between these two institutions. The meeting was attended by IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, Director of the IUS Research and Development Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Jasmin Šutković, Head of the IUS Department of Natural Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Altijana Hromić-Jahjefendić and Director of the Institute, M.Sc. Dr. Prim. Alma Bungur.

The Memorandum signatories pledged that the mutual cooperation will be focused on student education by promoting communication and information on health care, illness prevention and joint professional, research and educational activities to be implemented through bilateral projects and programs in cooperation with other international institutions. They also agreed on exchange of educators and professional associates as well as researches and students aimed at the implementation of research projects, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral theses.

The signatories will appoint their representatives to prepare an annual Memorandum Action Plan and monitor its implementation.
