Dean's Message
Our goal is to prepare students to be highly educated professionals who are ready to deal with the demands of a global and dynamic corporate environment. Students in FENS programs are encouraged to not just realize their maximum potential, but also to develop lifetime learning habits. FENS programs are, at the same time, very flexible so that students can follow their interests and ideas. In this sense, our faculty members, who are known for their excellent devotion to teaching, aid them in this regard. Their experience in the business world, together with their extensive knowledge of the subject, enables them to fully prepare our students for their future business careers.
The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences fosters a welcoming environment that encourages students, faculty, and staff to connect frequently. In addition, our faculty works to increase collaboration with local and regional enterprises. This type of involvement benefits the entire community, while also providing a real educational experience for our students and staff. Our multiple student clubs and Student Career Center also provide a diverse range of leadership and professional development opportunities.
We know that our former students are employed by a variety of organizations and businesses all over the world. In addition, our faculty excels in several international collaboration and exchange programs. Double diploma programs have been established in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University (ITU) for students interested in pursuing a career in Architecture, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
I am very glad to work with such dedicated academics, associates, and especially with enthusiastic students. Your ideas and suggestions are welcome, and they can help FENS become a more advanced center for holistic education. If you want to know more about how to connect with our faculty, feel free to email me.
