IUS Mechanical Engineering Team Visits Rimac Technology & Bugatti Rimac Campus in Zagreb
On September 25, 2026, representatives of the Mechanical Engineering (ME) program at the IUS Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) visited the Rimac Technology & Bugatti Rimac Campus in Zagreb, Croatia, gaining first-hand insight into some of the most advanced automotive and battery technologies developed in the region.
The IUS delegation included Prof. Dr. Muhamed Hadžiabdić, Senior Assistant Muhamed Bisić and Adjunct Instructor Dr. Mahir Hafizović, who had the opportunity to explore the company’s cutting-edge engineering environment and discuss possibilities for future cooperation.
Meeting with CEO Nurdin Pitarević
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Nurdin Pitarević, CEO, who introduced the company, its development journey, current activities and long-term vision. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the IUS representatives to present the International University of Sarajevo, its academic programs and its growing focus on connecting engineering education and research with industry.
