Kanita Karađuzović-Hadžiabdić successfully defended her PhD thesis
Kanita Karađuzović-Hadžiabdić successfully defended her PhD thesis on November 10, 2016 in the field of Computational Photography titled “Framework for Evaluation of Deghosting Algorithms for Multi-Exposure High Dynamic Range Imaging” supervised by Assist. Prof. Dr. Jasminka Hasić-Telalović.
The thesis results contribute to the body of knowledge of High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging. HDR is highly accurate representation of a captured scene. It is one of the key technologies which will change the way of how the digital content is represented. Some of the many applications of HDR imaging are: satellite imaging, surveillance systems, medical imagery, human vision simulation, military, digital cinema, video games, etc.
The research was performed in close collaboration with prof. Rafal Mantiuk from Cambridge University and resulted in publications in prestigious Computer Graphics conference proceedings and a book chapter in “HDR Video Capture and Deghosting” published by Elsevier.
Congratulations to our Senior Assistant Kanita Karađuzović-Hadžiabdić!
