4 th Regional Conference on Soft Computing
4th Regional Conference on Soft Computing was held at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on Friday, June 26, 2015. The Conference was organized by renowned lecturers and academics of IUS and lasted from 26th to 27th June. It brought together many distinguished researchers in the field of Soft Computing who represent an effective tool for management, modeling, and solving problems of decision making in complex systems, such as the decision -making process in a variety of complex situations. Organizers of the Conference were: IUS Soft Computing Research Group Emeritus Professor. Dr. Mehmet Can, Senior Research Assistant Dr. Sadina Gagula-Palalić, Senior Assistant Kanita Karađuzović-Hadžiabdić and Senior Assistant Alma Husagić-Selman.
During the first day, Emeritus Professor Dr. Mehmet Can from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) welcomed all participants of the Conference as well as Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayla Arslan. Dr. Can emphasized the importance of organizing such conferences and said that at IUS great enthusiasm exists when it comes to organization and implementation of successful and high-quality conferences that aim at providing an overview of modern trends in computer and technical sciences, especially in the field Soft Computing.
